Scuba Diving and Snorkeling
Boats fully-equipped with diving and snorkeling equipment and a PADI-certified dive master will whisk you away into the vibrant waters of the Caribbean Sea. The Belize Barrier Reef boasts of astounding biodiversity in coral, fish, and reef creatures. With over 400 species of fish, more than 70 types of hard corals, and countless other reef inhabitants, your eyes will experience sensory overload. Three spectacular atolls beyond the barrier reef encircle pristine reef systems that offer additional diving adventures, including the famous Blue Hole. Both full-day and half-day excursions are offered with state of the art equipment available for rent if you do not bring your own.
What to bring:
Swimwear, change of clothes, fins, snorkels, masks, sunscreen lotion, book, hat, white t-shirt, underwear camera, bug spray, flip flops or sandals.

Deep Sea Fishing
The turquoise waters off the coast of Belize not only beckon visitors, but also scores of marine life. Plan an excursion in this angler's paradise and prepare for a sport dubbed catching. Over 176 miles of unrivalled barrier reef, hundreds of square miles of classic fishing flats, and intricate webs of rivers and estuaries offer tremendous salt or freshwater fishing. Troll, fly fish, or drop a line in knee-deep waters or reef drop offs thousands of feet in depth. Local equipment is available for rent and licensed, experienced guides are on-call to assist you. Expect success in one of the best fishing localities in the world.
What to bring:
Sunscreen, light weight t-shirt, hat, water, camera ( for the big catch).

Excursions & Sports

Blue Creek Cave
The Blue Creek cave system is one of the best kept secrets in Belize. Only a 1.5 Hour from Placencia this day trip offers some of the best scenery of the interior and a spectacular hike to the entrance of the Blue Creek cave system. For the adventurer our guide will take you swimming deep into the caves where you can stand under waterfalls and experience total darkness when the guide switches his headlamp off.

Jaguar Preserve, Cockscomb Basin
Come explore the world's only jaguar preserve, possibly catching a glimpse of this elusive jungle cat. Meetings with other exotic wildlife such as the endangered red-eyed tree frog, the howler monkey, ocelot, puma, tapir, armadillo, and over 290 bird species, are all possible. The day will start early, with a 45-minute drive to the village of Maya Center, the entrance to the sanctuary. The journey will continue into the preserve to the Sanctuary Headquarters and Education Center. Here, exhibits about the rainforest and its habitats will prepare you for the green world ahead. An experienced guide will lead you on a hike into the jungle while pointing out the rich specie diversity found in this region. Then break for lunch around midday before continuing the trek onwards to a stunning waterfall. End your day cooling off under crystal waters of the waterfals and lazily tubing down the river. Monkey River
The Monkey River tour carries you through the emerald green waters of the Monkey River on an enchanting twelve-mile boat ride through the lagoon to the Monkey River Village and mouth of the waterway. Along the way, iguanas will watch you as they lounge lazily on the tree branches, tropical birds will sing and swoop through the maze of jungle green, crocodiles will loom ominously on the banks, and the famous howler monkeys will see just who can holler the loudest. Innumerable other rainforest creatures will undoubtedly make this boat trip down the Monkey River an exciting and memorable experience. As you disembark the boat, your guide will take you on a breathtaking and informative walk through the rainforest as he points out the medicinal properties of the surrounding flora and habits of the elusive fauna. Return to the village for lunch and meet the people in this small, secluded fishing community. The boat will wind its way back to the resort by three in the afternoon.

Mayan Ruins
Take a step back in time and discover the magical ancient Maya civilization. Today, in virtually every corner of Belize, remnants of the mighty Mayan civilization lay buried, awaiting rediscovery. Over three thousand years of regional dominance has sprinkled the country with magnificent ancient cities and ceremonial centers hidden amidst the jungle and its extensive cave systems. Belize, the center of the ancient Maya world, has a multitude of excavated sites open to the public and ready for exploration. What to bring:
